So this might sound cheezy, but I had loved “A Christmas Carol” movie with George C Scott in it. When I got to the point in school that we were actually reading parts of the real book from Dickens, I was amazed here and there, thinking “Wow, they actually said that nearly word for word in the movie!” I was thinking how great it was that the movie “respected” the book so well.
However, I never read the entire book, so let me ask the Dickens fans: Was I right? Was that version of the movie a good representation of the book?

Did you know that, as a boy in boarding school, Roald Dahl and his classmates tasted chocolate for a local chocolate factory? I wonder if it led to anything?
